The fresco represents the triumph SCIPIONE celebrated upon his victorious return to ROMA.
The Banquet represents LUCIUS and his betrothed, happily reunited after SCIPIONE liberated her.
Thus, the two walls are linked thematically to the ceiling representation, depicting the benefits derived from the generous gesture of SCIPIONE, triumphant in battle and in the effects of his magnanimity.
