THE FRESCOES by Luigi DORIGNY for the main hall and ground-floor corridor of CA' ZENOBIO -- Venezia -- 1698.

Speranza

The history of Ca' Zenobio is well known.

It belonged to ZUANNE CARLO ZENOBIO, a count of the empire from a noble family in Verona.

He had just joined the Venetian patriciate on the occasion of the marriage of his daughter Margherita to a member of the DONA family.

His son, PIETRO ZENOBIO, decided to build the "ca'".
