A lar is a popular Roman domestic divinity without specific mythology, alas.

Lar compitales is the lar of the crossroads.

Lar augusti is the lar of Augustus.

Lar familiaris is the lar of the household, dressed as a youth wearing short tunics and holding a drinking horn and a libation saucer.
