Agostino di Duccio adorned with exquisitely delicate secular reliefs the temple of the Malatesta family at Rimini. This was a Gothic church entirely transformed by Alberti, the great architectural theoretician who changed its facciata into the form of a classical arch. It was to be the mausoleum of the beautiful Isotta degli Atti, the mistress of one of the lords of Remini.
