Speranza
The first great period of ROMA was between the second century B. C. and the third century A. D., when ROMA spread out from the PALATIVM ("Palazzo") (16 ha.) to occupy the SEPTI-MONTIUM (c. 156 ha.) and then to be enclosed by the great wall of AURELIO (c. AD 270). The latter covered more than double the city in the sixteenth century.
