These are beautiful things.
The villa was designed by Palladio.
It belonged, as the name indicates, to LOSCO CALDOGNO, a Venezian patrician.
The frescoes include:
Coronation of Nymph Amaryllis, winner of the kissing completion
Pursuit of Corsica by a satyr
The struggle between Erote and Anterote
The wounding of Dorinda, mistaken by a the shepherd SILVIO for one of his prey
OMNIA VINCIT AMOR
