These are beautiful things.

VILLA VALMARANA was owned by the VALMARANA family.

The first owner was Giovanni Maria BERTOLO, a wealthy jurist from VICENZA.

After BERTOLO's death, the property was inherited by his daughter GIULIA BERTOLO, a nun.

The building was sold in 1730 to Vicenzan nobleman GIUSTINO VALMARANA.

ROOM OF ILIADA -- including hall with IFIGENIA.
