Speranza
These are beautiful things.
The Villa Alessandri was oddly first owned by the CORBELLI family.
In 1696, it was bought by ALESSANDRI (not from the CORBELLI family -- the thing had changed hands numerous times).
Cesare Alessandri was a wealthy Venetian merchant with a shop in the Mercerie commercial district, 'under the banner of the French Knight".
The frescoes include:
NARCISSO
DEINAIRA
ERMAFRODITO -- SALMACIS
DANAE
PAN
APOLLO E DAFNE
ADONE -- not to be confused with ENDIMIONE!
