The other prominent feature of this period in my philosophical life was participation in the discussions which took place on Saturday mornings in term-time and which were conducted by a number of the younger Oxford philosophers under the leadership of Austin. This group which continued to meet up to, and indeed for some years after, Austin's death was christened by me "The Play Group', and was often so referred to, though so far as I know never by, or in the presence of, Austin himself.
