Herm with a portrait head of Plato.
- Height: 51cm.
- marble herm.
- The head is a version of the head of an original bronze statue of Plato made by Silanion in about 350 BC.
- The herm:
- was made in the late 2nd century AD.
- was formerly in the Castellani collection.
- has been in Berlin since about 1885.
- is now in Berlin, Antikensammlung, inv. 300.
