Speranza
Sciarrino is a contemporary opera composer. His opera, "Luci mie traditrici" is based on a 1664 that tells the romance of the "Duca d'Andria" and the wife of the "Principe da Vanosa". The story has been set to music a few other times. The tenor role is easily assigned to the Duca d'Andria.
