Grice ed Elcasai: la
gnossi a Roma – filosofia italiana – Luigi Speranza
(Roma). Filosofo italiano. A gnostic. One of his followers, Alcibiades, brought
a book by him to Rome, claiming that its contents had been revealed to Elcasai
by an angel. The cult he founded believed in reincarnation and that Pythagorean
science provides a means of predicting the future. There was also a magical
healing side to the cult, and it claimed to be able to cure rabies.
