S.A.R. Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, Principe di Piemonte e di Venezia, nasce a Ginevra il 22 di Giugno del 1972.

Fu il nonno, Re Umberto II, a volergli attribuire il titolo legato alla Città che seppe fare d’ogni Gentiluomo un Sovrano.

Da bambino ha potuto contare sulle doti culturali, in specie storiografiche, della Regina d’Italia, Maria Josè, sua nonna.

Mentalità rivolta al futuro, ma nutrita dalla chiara consapevolezza della dote storica e morale di Famiglia, dall’esempio del nonno, S.M. Re Umberto II, ha percepito grande dignità, senso del dovere e di abnegazione.

L’esilio, in cui è stato costretto dalla nascita e per 30 anni, è stato, per carattere, uno stimolo, covato a lungo, a partecipare, in modo attivo e responsabile, alla vita d'Italia.

L’esperienza scolastica è legata al Liceo Le Rosey, frequentato sino al 1990.

Poi il diploma di maturità scientifica a Losanna, presso l’Istituto Gamma.

Il suo istinto per la finanza l’ha portato ad abbandonare gli studi universitari in

architettura

per lanciarsi nel mondo bancario internazionale.

Operando per 5 anni alla Republic National Bank of New York di Ginevra e successivamente per dieci anni alla Syz Bank dove si è occupato della gestione e controllo dei fondi di investimento.

Ha creato, a soli 26 anni, il «Fondo Altin», primo «fondo di fondi hedge» quotato alla Borsa di Zurigo.

Più di recente, ha istituito un prodotto finanziario tutto italiano, legato alla

«Fondazione Emanuele Filiberto Charity Fund».

Il fondo si propone di generare utili per sostenere due realtà nazionali che operano nel sociale.

L’esperienza nella finanza internazionale gli ha consentito di toccare con mano le dinamiche dei processi di globalizzazione, i limiti dell’attuale integrazione europea, principalmente economico monetaria, e la crisi politica nell’Europa, nel declino degli stati nazionali, nella carenza d’una Sovranità condivisa.

Ha fondato nel 2001

«Fondazione Principe di Venezia»

dedicata alla scomparsa Regina d’Italia Maria Josè, ha voluto utilizzare

l’arte

come veicolo di comunicazione

tra popoli, punto d’incontro e di comunione di ideali che utilizza gli stimoli di culture diverse.

Sposa il 25 settembre 2003 l’attrice francese Clotilde Courou, nella Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli in Roma.

Dal matrimonio ha avuto due bambine, Vittoria Chiara nata nel 2003 e Luisa nel 2006.

La sua attività per conservare e valorizzare il patrimonio culturale e storico di Casa Reale lo ha portato a fondare la

"Convenzione Nazionale Monarchica"

con l’intento di raggruppare le decine di associazioni ed enti che si ispirano a Casa Savoia e al Risorgimento.

Il suo approccio con la Patria, i disagi ed i tanti problemi di cui è afflitta, lo ha spinto a fondare l’Associazione Valori e Futuro, che con lui impegna un gruppo di professionisti e docenti universitari a riproporre i principi fondanti della famiglia, il lavoro, l’ambiente, la solidarietà, la cultura e la storia, nell’Italia e nell’Europa d’oggi, afflitte da una sorta di minorità politica, dalla crisi di Sovranità che colpisce il Vecchio Continente per gli esiti, ma non solo, del secondo conflitto mondiale.

Nel 2008 si presenta alle Elezioni Europee raggiungendo il ragguardevole risultato elettorale come primo dei non eletti dell’Unione di Centro con quasi 25.000 preferenze nel Nord Ovest d’Italia.

Nel 2009 partecipa al noto programma televisivo

“Ballando con le Stelle”

condotto da Milly Carlucci in onda in prima serata su Rai Uno.

La partecipazione di Emanuele Filiberto come concorrente fa raggiungere notevoli risultati di pubblico, il Principe riesce con il suo garbo e la sua simpatia a raccogliere le simpatie della giuria e soprattutto dei telespettatori che di puntata in puntata lo portano alla vittoria dello Show.

Grazie alla vittoria a “Ballando con le Stelle” si aprono per lui le porte della televisione e nel solo anno 2010 presenta “I Raccomandati”, “Ciak si Canta”, “Ricchi di Energia”, “Miss Italia 2010” e partecipa al Festival della Canzone Italiana il Festival di Sanremo con una canzone da lui scritta

“Italia, Amore Mio”.

La canzone si piazza al secondo posto grazie ad un altissimo numero di voti provenienti dal pubblico a casa.

Nel 2011 ci sono molti progetti televisivi in corso di valutazione.

Biography

Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia, Prince of Piedmonte and Venice, was born in Geneva, on the 22nd of June 1972. He is the Grandson to King Umberto II, who wanted to attribute to him the title to the City that knew every gentleman to be a sovereign. From childhood, he has been able to count on the cultural gifts of the historical disclosures of the Queen of Italy, Maria Josè, his grandmother. Prince Emanuele was influenced by his grandfather S.A.R King Umberto II whom demonstrated great dignity and a selfless sense of duty when he reigned. This mindset stayed with Prince Emanuele as he looked toward the future nourished by the clear conscience of his historical dowry and family morality. The exile, in which had been forced on him for thirty years since birth, has provided a stimulus that has sparked an insatiable desire, take on the role as Prince, in an active and responsible way for the betterment of the country.

His scholastic experience includes the Rosey High School where he attended till 1990 and later attended the Gamma Institute in Lausanne, Switzerland where he originally wished to study architecture. His passion for finances however, ultimately led him to abandon the university studies in architecture in order launch himself in the international banking world. Prince Emanuele operated for five years at the Republic National Bank of New York and successively, ten years at the Syz Bank in Geneva where he has taken care of the management and control of the active trusts. He has created, in only twenty-six years, the “Altin Fund”-the first of hedge funds listed in the Zurich Stock Exchange. More recently, he has founded all-Italian product line tied “Emanuele Filiberto Charity Fund Foundation”. The fund was proposed to generate profits in order to support two national truths which are the political and the other symbolic of the Italian community. Experience in the international finance has given him particular wisdom of the dynamics in proceeding globalization including knowledge of limits for which it is mainly economical currency presented to European integration, and the political crisis in Europe and the decline of the national states, in the deficiencies shared in sovereign nations.

Prince Emanuele founded in 2001 the “Foundation Prince of Venice” dedicated to the passing of Maria Josè Queen of Italy, he wanted to use art as a vehicle of communication between peoples and pushed for the integration of community ideals which uses the stimuli of various cultures. On September 25, 2003, he married French actress Clotilde Courou, in the Basilica of Saint Maria of the Angels in Rome. From the marriage he has two children, Victoria who was born in the 2003 and Luisa in 2006.


His main goal activity to preserve and exploit the cultural and historical royal family; currently led by the National Monarchial Convention with the help of two groups including a multitude of associations and agencies that are inspired to revive the House of Savoia. The association Values and Future (Valori e Futuro), approaches the inconveniences and the many problems that torment Italy and is based on the endeavors of a group of professionals and university professors who are restoring Savoy’s heritage, the solidarity, the culture and the historical significance. In Italy and Europe today, the Prince is plagued from a kind of political minority from the Old Continent as a result of the Second World War. In 2008, he is introduced to the European Elections with a considerable electoral result with second place of the Union of Center with nearly 25,000 votes in the North West of Italy.


In 2009, Prince Emanuele Filberto participated in the famous television program “Dancing with the Stars” along with Milly Carlucci, were a hit performance during the first evening on RAI One. The participation of Emanuele Filberto as a contender made him a public sensation and has succeeded in winning the love of the public and viewers leading him to first place. Thanks to the victory in “Dancing with the Stars”, it has opened doors to him in television appearances where in a single year in 2010, he has appeared in “The Recommended Ones”, “Ciak It Sings Themselves”, “Rich of Energy”, “Miss Italy 2010” and has participated at the Grand Festival of Sanremo singing a song that was written in Italian by the prince called “Italia Amore Mio” which in English translates “Italy My Love”.
