AESCHINES OF NEAPOLIS [Naples] (second/ first century BC)
According to Diogenes Laertius, Aeschines was a Platonist and favourite pupil of Melanthius of Rhodes. He seems to be the same person as the Aeschines said by Plutarch of Chaeronea to have studied under Carneades of Cyrene when Carneades was an old man.
